Simone Biles is not afraid to treat herself.
“In 2015 @alyraisman & I said if we made the Olympic team in 2016, we’d treat ourselves to a Celine bag 🥹🥲🤍,” Biles, 29, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, July 5, revealing the special accessory her and former teammate Aly Raisman purchased after securing a ticket to the 2016 Rio Games.
“I have it written down in my notepad still,” Biles continued.
The gymnast went on to share that she’s tempted to purchase another one of the designer’s purses a decade later.
“10 year anniversary I might have to get another one,” she added.

In 2024, following her Paris Olympics performance, Biles added an Hermès Birkin bag to her collection. While shopping, she snapped a pic of nude Birkin bags taken inside an Hermès shop. She then teased her splurge and posted a pic of the iconic orange shopping bag.
““👀🫢😍🥹,” she captioned the post.
At the time, the gymnastics G.O.A.T. made headlines for her dominant Olympics performance in which she took home four medals — three of which were gold.
Biles took home another Birkin bag in January 2025 while shopping with her husband Jonathan Owens. At the time, she bought a brown purse featuring white stitching, gold hardware and tan embellishments. The Birkin retailed for $34,000, per Maison de Luxe.
“😍😍😍,” Biles captioned the unboxing video. “Treated myself to a new lil baby while in New York,” she added. “Jonathan came for emotional support, baby I was sweaaaating.”
Biles first made the Olympic team in 2016. She then withdrew from most events during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after suffering from the twisties, described as a loss of spatial awareness in the air. She returned to the mat to compete in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
