Just asking to be smooched!
The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner took place in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 25. And while the event is affectionately called “Nerd Prom,” there wasn’t a single wallflower-y thing about these stars’ dramatic lip colors.
Scroll down to find out the exact shade of each of these pretty ladies’ pouts, starting with Jenna Dewan Tatum‘s red kisser!
Jenna Dewan Tatum’s Strawberry Lipstick
The actress, pro dancer, and wife to Channing Tatum (sigh) chose a stunning black and white Reem Acra dress, which called for one dazzlingly bright complement: a red mouth. As celeb makeup artist Patrick Ta told Us Weekly, “Jenna loves a bright lip,” so he lacquered her pout in Melt Cosmetics Matte Red Lipstick in “Belladonna 2” ($19, Meltcosmetics.com).
Chrissy Teigen’s Plum Pout

Lip Sync Battle‘s “Colorful Commentator” worked a Zuhair Murad dress with a slit so high it was almost dangerous—and still, her purple lipstick might have been her boldest style choice of the night. “Chrissy’s look was all about gorgeous skin with a bold lip,” celeb makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic explained.
His dramatic choice for the model: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in “Sad Girl” ($20, Anastasiabeverlyhills.com), teamed with a touch of the brand’s Lipgloss in “Venom” at the center of her lips ($16, Anastasiabeverlyhills.com).
Megan Boone’s Rose-Colored Smile

For a “classic beauty” like Boone, makeup artist Reiva Cruze wrote via Instagram that she gave The Blacklist‘s leading lady (who wore an LBD with Via Spiga sandals) a #ClassicLikeChanel makeup look. That meant a light magenta lip created with Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in “Damned” for the actress ($26, Nordstrom.com).
