While other stars are busy dying their hair and trying out the bob hairstyle, Jessica Chastain went with bangs for her new summer ‘do.
The Zero Dark Thirty star debuted the new look via Instagram on Saturday, June 7. “Someone got a haircut courtesy of @renatocampora #hair #genius #brigittebardot #60s #fashion #iloveitsomuch,” Chastain, 37, wrote of her style inspired by the sexy French actress of the ’50s and ’60s.
Celeb hairstylist Renato Campora, who also styled the Oscar nominee’s hair for her May 17 appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, added eyebrow-length fringe to Chastain’s red hair. He also added in lots of loose waves and texture for a modern take on the retro style.
Blake Lively also sought inspiration from Brigitte Bardot recently. The Savages star, 26, channeled the ’60s star with a headband and shift dress at the CFDA Awards in New York City on June 2.
