Jessica Simpson celebrated the 10th anniversary of her billion-dollar brand, the Jessica Simpson Collection, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at NYC’s Tavern on the Green, where her father, Joe, presented her with a very special present: a luxe diamond ring!
Simpson, 35, modeled the fierce bling at the fete celebrating the success of her eponymous collection. (Though the line launched with just shoes, it now boasts everything from perfume to sunglasses to home goods.)
Up close, the 18K black-plated gold ring, from celeb-adored Jacob & Co., resembles three spider webs, which span the length of the pop singer-turned-fashion mogul’s pointer finger. And the best part? It’s covered from top to bottom in five carats of white diamonds.
A source exclusively tells Us Weekly, “When Joe gave her the ring, it was a sweet moment—they had no idea the collection would turn into a billion-dollar business 10 years ago! So it was like, ‘Hey, baby, we did it! Congrats!'” The source adds, “Jess was so surprised and loved it.” The price tag for the sparkling bauble: $30,000, according to the source.
