The odd couple! Ava Sambora was snapped by Jessica and Ashlee Simpson‘s dad, Joe Simpson, for a beach-based photo shoot for label WTFHYD in Malibu on Tuesday, September 27.
The budding model rocked a coral crocheted bikini in a dusty rose hue, teamed with a cheeky gold necklace by WTFHYD reading “f–k you.” Sambora wore her flaxen tresses in loose waves and rocked an understated makeup palette, including copper eye shadow and a pale pink lip.
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora‘s daughter posed alongside the handsome Jonathan Keith, who’s also a rising model. Keith is a client of Joe’s, explaining the 64-year-old’s presence at the shoot. Plus, Joe launched his photography career earlier this year with a special show in L.A., so it’s no surprise that he played the shutterbug too.
Ava has admitted that, much like her parents, she loves the limelight. “Ever since I was five or six, I’ve wanted to be an actress,” she told Teen Vogue in 2013. “I loved attention and would always try to be onstage and in front of people. It was easy to figure out what I wanted to be.”
Specifically thinking of her mom, former Melose Place star Locklear, the teen stunner added, “I always wanted to be on set with her. One of her first films I visited was The Perfect Man. I was super-starstruck because I thought her costar Hilary Duff was the most awesome person in the world!”
