Not your average summer gig! Kaia Gerber scored a campaign with Miu Miu, acting as the fresh face of their Scenique eyewear campaign.
In a five-minute video that premiered on Monday, June 20, the 14-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber rests peacefully in a luxurious mansion. After waking up from a nap, the IMG model strolls through the home, garden and then to an enormous pool wearing a printed tunic and bejeweled hot pink furry slides while the camera follows her from the neck down. She dives in to grab a pair of the $500 glasses and goes through the pool wearing the shades, emerging from the water in a cherry red one-piece bathing suit with her face showing.
The Scenique campaign is yet another addition to Gerber’s growing list of accomplishments. She appeared on the April cover of Vogue Paris with her mom, shot by famed photographer Mario Testino. And the duo also appeared in a Chrome Hearts campaign in February. Gerber, who hung out with fellow model Kendall Jenner at Coachella this year, also worked with Alexander Wang and posed in a series of ads for the brand.
But of course, Gerber isn’t the only one who reaps the benefits of her parents’ good genes. Her brother, Presley Gerber, made his runway debut at the Moschino Resort show in Los Angeles on June 10. Presley, 16, rocked an orange lace suit, printed yellow sneakers and a floral lei to strut his stuff.
