Who wears short shorts? Activists like Kate Hudson! The Mother’s Day actress hopped on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 1, to support Michael Kors‘ Watch Hunger Stop campaign, and naturally, she donned a pair of her beloved denim cutoffs for the occasion.
The mom of two, 36, finished her stem-flaunting ensemble with the campaign’s fill-in-the-blank white tee, which read, “Today I Want to…Help Someone” (the last two words being Hudson’s choice).
Making sure to educate her followers about the cause, which aims to feed children in hunger-stricken areas, Hudson also added this caption: “I’m joining my dear friend @michaelkors in the fight to #WatchHungerStop Come join us and learn ways to help at www.WATCHHUNGERSTOP.COM,” capping the note off with a prayer-hands emoji.
The blonde beauty, who has been linked to Nick Jonas as of late, is the famous face of Kors’ Watch Hunger Stop watch collection. For each piece sold, the fashion designer donates $25, which is used to purchase 100 meals.
When she first joined the campaign, Hudson shared in a press release, “As a mother, I can’t think of anything more important than raising a healthy and educated generation of children, and WFP’s School Meals Program is committed to exactly that. This is a cause that I’m eager to be a part of because I believe we can all make a real and significant difference.”
