A royal masterpiece! Kate Middleton chose a formfitting dress in an eye-popping print for a royal dinner in Thimphu, Bhutan, on Thursday, April 14.
Joining her husband, Prince William, and the King and Queen of Bhutan, the Duchess of Cambridge, 34, modeled the kaleidoscopic Tory Burch floral mesh dress ($1,495, toryburch.com). The design boasts semi-sheer short sleeves and slits up both slides. Middleton finished her ensemble with gold earrings, a blood-orange shawl and crisscrossed pumps.
William, 33, rocked a royal-blue blazer with a slight sheen, teamed with a white button-up (sans tie!), blue pants and brown shoes.
Kate and Will — who share son Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 11 months, both at home in England — were welcomed by the Bhutanese royals earlier that morning. They were invited into the Golden Throne Room at the Tashichho Dzong (the country's famed monastery and fortress), then participated in a round of sports, including archery and darts.
The dinner will be held at the Lingkana Palace, which is located on the grounds of the Tashichho Dzong.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also spend Friday in Bhutan before heading back to India, where they will conclude their trip with a visit to the Taj Mahal.
