‘Tis the season for prettiness!
Spring has sprung—at least, that’s what our calendars tell Us—but while the mercury has risen a bit, it’s not quite shorts season yet. We still need a little something to top off our sundresses, which leads Us to one of our favorite celeb-loved solutions of the moment: the pastel coat.
Light toppers in Easter egg-inspired hues may be a seasonal staple, but the stars have been sporting and accessorizing them better than ever lately. Take Kate Middleton‘s formal ensemble on March 9; she paired her blush Alexander McQueen jacket with a matching fascinator and heels. Emmy Rossum, on the other hand, modeled a more casual approach, teaming her sky blue coat with a leopard-print scarf and jeans on March 19.
Meanwhile, Naomie Harris embraced the season on March 24 in a mint Burberry coat, unbuttoned to reveal a printed Peter Pilotto minidress underneath. And of course, Jessica Alba turned heads on March 10 when she stepped out in head-to-toe coral by Narciso Rodriguez.
Thanks to these celebs’ lovely alternative to puffer coats, Us Weekly shopped out four favorite pastel-hued coats for the season—and beyond! Happy shopping.
CORAL: Channel Alba’s boss-lady street style with the crisp Oasis “Longline Crepe Duster Kimono” in the sherbet hue ($72, Oasis-stores.com).
SKY BLUE: Just like Rossum, add a printed scarf to this H&M coat in “Light Blue” for an extra pop of color ($80, HM.com).
MINT: As sky’s punchier sister, the pale teal shade of the Romwe “Light Blue Coat With Zipper” is a standout ($44, Romwe.com); plus, its wool shell will keep you warm on even the coolest spring nights.
BLUSH: The textured detailing on the prim Helene Berman Collarless Textured Coat adds a princess-worthy touch ($278, Nordstrom.com).
