Even princesses like to cozy up in sweats!
A favorite of the Scouts, Kate Middleton visited the 23rd Poplar Beavers in London on Tuesday, Dec. 16, to help the little ones earn their Disability Awareness badges—and she didn’t do it in couture.
On the contrary, the pregnant Duchess, 32, donned skinny jeans and boots—and one unexpected piece of clothing: a black UK Scouting hoodie, which looked deliciously comfortable.
Always one to include a personal touch, Middleton added some flare to the zip-up in the form of a striped neck scarf—the same one all the Beavers wear while on duty, which she knotted beneath her hood.
To help the youngsters earn their Disability Awareness badges, Prince George‘s mom ate chocolates alongside the scouts while wearing boxing gloves. Middleton also helped the scouts icing a cake while blindfolded. She even learned the Scout Promise in sign language.
The Duchess of Cambridge did, however, recycle one action: Her hilarious stress eye roll, last spotted while wrapping gifts in NYC and seen again here while attempting to juggle multiple Scout tasks.
But the kids adored her! As soon as one of the Beavers spotted Middleton, she shouted out, “Oh my God, it’s Princess Kate!” an onlooker shares with Us. But there was one little boy who remained blissfully unaware of the royal in his presence. “What’s your name?” he asked, to which Middleton replied with a laugh, “My name’s Catherine. Very nice to meet you!”
