Ahoy there, Katey! Kate Middleton recycled an outfit for a third time on Friday, May 20, while visiting the 1851 Trust, Sir Ben Ainslie’s sailing headquarters in Portsmouth, England, to encourage children to take up the sport.
For her busy day, the duchess, 34, who is a patron of the trust, gave some serious sailor uniform vibes. Her Alexander McQueen ensemble included a silk georgette blouse with navy blue piping and shiny gold buttons paired with a matching wool crepe pencil skirt. A pair of navy blue Prada pumps and a clutch completed her look. The duchess debuted this outfit in August 2011 when she and Prince William visited the riot-torn communities of Birmingham. She chose it again in 2014 at the Summerfield Community Centre in Birmingham.
The duchess didn’t keep her couture on for long, though. She changed into waterproof gear and sneakers to sail on America’s Cup with Sir Ben. The nautical adventure followed a digital workshop that Middleton took part in with students from St. Edmund’s Catholic School, Portsmouth. She also launched two flagship sailing projects and opened an education center targeted for secondary school students online.
