Duchess Kate’s Olympic Doppelganger Is French Cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot

Blinked during the women’s road race and thought you saw Kate Middleton? Don’t worry, you’re not going crazy! The Duchess of Cambridge, 34, may not be at the Rio Olympics this time around, but her doppelgänger sure is.

Meet Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, the Olympic cyclist from France who looks just like Prince William‘s love. The 24-year-old multidiscipline racer shares Middleton’s arched brows, high cheekbones, almond-shaped eyes and wide smile. She even shares the Duchess’ dimples, not to mention her athletic build.

One small difference? While the British royal is famous for her chestnut-colored tresses, which are always blown out and styled to perfection, the cyclist rocks blonde locks.

Ferrand-Prevot came to the Olympics to compete in two races: the women’s road race and the women’s cross-country (the latter on mountain bike). She competed the women’s race on Sunday, August 7, and ranked 26th. The second race will take place on Saturday, August 20.

Middleton, however, will not be in Rio at all. While the mom of Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 15 months, was a main fixture at the Summer Olympics in her home country in 2012, she opted out of this year’s Games due to fears concerning the Zika virus.
