Hunting down the hottest fashion trends! Celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek was on a mission to find the most fashionable stars as The Hunt’s stylist at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn on Sunday, Aug. 26.
Using The Hunt‘s new mobile app that makes social media photos shoppable by showing where to purchase items in the photos, Wujek hunted down trends on the red carpet. One look he loved? His own client and pal Katy Perry! “The [Emanuel] Ungaro dress was roaring from the runway for VMAs,” Wujek tells Us Weekly of the 28-year-old “Roar” singer’s short animal-print dress. “It was just the animal we needed for this red carpet moment.”
The Hunt‘s stylist also admired The Face star and supermodel Coco Rocha‘s edgy leather ensemble. “Give me an embellished leather motorcycle jacket and a supermodel and I’m a happy guy,” he tells Us. “Coco’s look was all the man I wanted it to be.”
Wujek was also a big fan of American Idol alum Adam Lambert‘s Lanvin suit. “My boy Adam was all things cool last night,” he says. “He had just the right amount of flash for the night’s festivities.”
Singer Ciara earned Wujek’s praise for her sexy see-through dress. “Ciara was shear genius in Givenchy at the VMAs,” Wujek tells Us. “She COUTore it up.”
