After months of speculation (and even a few Instagram hints!), Calvin Klein announced on Thursday, March 26, that Kendall Jenner is indeed the fierce face of the brand’s new #mycalvins Denim Series campaign.
“Proud to be the face of the new @calvinklein #mycalvins Denim Series!” the rising model, 19, simultaneously tweeted, adding a crop top-clad shot of herself, just one in a series of sexy snaps photographed by Alasdair McLellan and styled by Melanie Ward.
Explaining her excitement even more in a statement, Jenner, who also boasts a contract with Estee Lauder, said that the campaign is a “dream come true” for her. “I’ve grown up wearing the brand and seeing the iconic advertising in magazines and on billboards featuring some of the world’s top supermodels. To now be a part of that legacy is truly an honor,” she shared.
Naturally, Calvin’s thrilled to have her, too. “Kendall is a modern beauty who brings her youthful spirit and edge to this special Calvin Klein Jeans campaign,” said Melisa Goldie, the brand’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Kendall’s powerful fan base and global reach will further amplify the current cultural conversation surrounding the Calvin Klein Jeans brand and highlight this exciting limited edition.”
Indeed it is! In the campaign photos, Jenner models a slew of pieces from the capsule, which will be available at Opening Ceremony starting April 15.
Just some of the threads, which range in price from $58 to $348, she works in the pics: a sleeveless, cropped sweatshirt, a denim vest, overalls, athletic shorts, and, of course, Calvin Klein jeans in a variety of washes.
