Karl Lagerfeld rounded up his favorite supermodels and celebrity friends for a cruise around New York City on Monday, March 30. The list of VIPs invited to the Chanel-hosted event included the designer’s new muse Kendall Jenner, her mom Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, and Cara Delevingne.
Clearly comfortable in his element of being swarmed by top models, Lagerfeld removed his signature dark oversized sunglasses while sitting down for dinner.
The designer was also spotted chatting away with Delevingne, 22, a mainstay in many of his Paris-staged fashion shows. The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 25, showed off her lean legs in a short sweaterdress, while Hadid, 19, went classic in a white crop top and a matching skirt.
Before boarding the yacht, Kendall, 19, who wore a pair of printed pants and a white top, had a small reunion moment with Sports Illustrated model Hadid and Delevingne. “If this isn’t love, I don’t know what is… @kendalljenner @caradelevingne,” Hadid captioned the photo via Instagram.
As the boat left the dock, Kendall shared a shot via Instagram, which featured a big group of catwalkers, crouched in front of the illuminated Statue of Liberty. “baby,’s” the Estee Lauder spokesmodel wrote in the caption.

Clad in a brown fur coat, Kendall’s mom was spotted hanging out with Perry at the hush-hush gathering. “Yep @katyperry… Lady Liberty is 100% photo bombing us! Best in NYC! Thanks for an amazing night and dinner @karlagerfled #bestnightever #Chanel #family,” she posted to Instagram.
