Khloe Kardashian Defends Photoshopping Her Post-Workout Selfie

Defending her choice. More than two months after Khloe Kardashian went under fire for Photoshopping a post-workout selfie, she's giving fans her reason for doing so.

The fierce image showed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 31, showing off her toned abs and svelte frame in an HPE Cross X Seamless Zip ensemble. But fans quickly pointed out a quirk in the shot. "You can see the curve in the door [just] by her leg that suggests photoshop #nobuenokoko," one person posted below the snap.

Kardashian ended up deleting the offending image and posting the original, writing, "If only hatin burned calories how dope yall would be. Too bad it doesn't. Here's the OG shot. The petty movement ain't cute. Oh and I almost forgot…. Namaste."

Over two months later, the Strong Looks Better Naked author is breaking her silence on the issue, owning up to the emotional reason behind her choice.

"Whenever I post a picture of my legs on Instagram, everyone comments on how fu*ked up my knees look. It's because I've had reconstructive surgery, you a–holes!" she began via her site, "My right leg is an inch and a half thinner than my left because my muscles deteriorated and never recovered. Yes, I did Photoshop [this image], but I was trying to make my thinner leg look bigger to match my other leg!!!"

Kardashian revealed that the reason behind her surgery was a terrible car crash at the age of 16, in which her head and upper body went through a windshield and her legs got stuck under the steering wheel. "I had a neck brace, burns all over my body and had to take showers sitting in a chair. Malika and Khadijah would literally help me shower. … So next time you see me in a knee brace, you know why!" the Revenge Body by Khloe Kardashian host explained.
