What better way to celebrate 20 years of a magazine’s existence than putting Kim Kardashian on the cover? Richardson Magazine launched its issue A9 on Friday, October 19, celebrating the mag’s 20th anniversary with a cover featuring the KKW Beauty founder — and it’s major.

The featured images the middle Kardashian sister scantily clad in white bikini bottoms, glossy Cher hair and literally nothing else were shot by acclaimed photographer Steven Klein. The concept for the shoot: a Japanese adult animated psychological thriller called Perfect Blue which was directed by Satoshi Koni, which not so coincidentally is having its 20th anniversary this year as well.

Inside the glossy is a candid and in-depth interview of the OG reality T.V. star by author and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis in which Kardashian opens up about her public and private transformation in the past few years — and she even gets into what it’s like to be represented as a sex symbol and a mother in the public imagination.

Richardson was founded by creative director Andrew Richardson in 1988 as an independent magazine focused on sex and sexuality. The magazine’s eight prior issues have featured iconoclastic cover subjects including Blac Chyna  (mother of Kim’s niece Dream), Sasha Grey and Jenna Jameson, as well as contributions from Steven Klein, Richard Prince and Kara Walker among many other notable artists.

You can snap up your copy  at Richardson stores in NYC and L.A. for $35.
