Natural makeup doesn’t necessarily mean fewer products, at least for Kim Kardashian.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, uses a total of three different eyeliners to achieve her “Natural Daytime Look.”
“We’re going to show you today how to do a natural, soft, very clean eye,” Kardashian’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic says in the beauty tutorial on Kim’s website, kimkardashianwest.com.
After he fills out the Selfish author’s brows (“When you’re doing a cleaner, more natural eye, you especially want the brows to look flawless,” he says) he begins working on the mom of two’s eyes.
Dedivanovic uses a matte color slightly darker than Kardashian’s natural skin tone on her crease and highlights with a lighter shade beneath her brows. Next, he creates her clean cat-eye with Smolder Eye Kohl by MAC Cosmetics ($17, nordstrom.com) and sets it with MAC’s Liquid Eye Liner ($21, maccosmetics.com). On her lower lash line, he uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Smog to make her eye color pop ($20, ulta.com).
Lastly, he applies mascara and finishes with a setting spray.
When she sees the end result, Kardashian laughingly jokes, “So natural!”
Dedivanovic giggles along, responding, “It is natural by today’s [standards] … It’s Instagram-natural.”
