Flower power! Kirsten Dunst looked fresh on the CFDA Fashion Awards 2016 red carpet in NYC on Monday, June 6. So fresh, in fact, that her earrings were plucked from a greenhouse.
The Fargo star, 34, rocked jewelry made from real orchid flowers that added a colorful note to her embellished Rodarte dress. The frock featured a ruffle detail at the waist and a sheer skirt that showed off her toned legs.
The exotic plants were worn on her left ear only and styled onto Rodarte earrings by floral designer Joseph Free. The Oncidium orchids gave her ensemble a Hawaiian-vacation feel, which she accented with her color-blocked heels.
Dunst enhanced the tropical vibes with her blonde locks, styled in soft old-Hollywood curls by celeb stylist Caile Noble. “We wanted the style to have a subtle texture that was all its own — yet still look polished — almost done and undone at the same time,” Noble told Us Weekly.
Loving her overall look, Dunst shared a selfie via Instagram, writing, “At the #cfdas with my gals @rodarte 🙌.”
