Having more fun yet, Kyles? Kylie Jenner just debuted platinum-blonde hair — and yes, she documented the hair makeover, which took a full day, via Snapchat, so it’s real! But the lip kit queen, 19, certainly isn’t the first Kardashian-Jenner to prove her — or his — blonde ambition. All of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians kids have experimented with that almost-white hue at some point. Let’s reminisce, shall we?
As she dished via her app (before Kylie teased with the caption “vibes”), Kourtney, 37, went bleach blonde at 16. “Between the lip liner, pencil-thin eyebrows and the white hair, I guess I really embraced the ’90s trends back in the day!” she wrote. She confessed that the dye job fried her hair, though, so she said she wouldn’t be trying it again anytime soon.
Kim, 35, has played with Barbie blonde hair on and off through the years, most notably in March 2015, while attending Paris Fashion Week. “So I went platinum!!” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I have the best team! Thank you to @joycebonelli for being my inspiration and introducing me to @GregoryRussellHair who cut my hair & put this team together! Thank you @LorriGoddard_ who dyed my hair & got this color in one try! Not an easy task!”
While Khloé, 32, has yet to go top-to-bottom platinum (she always leaves a little root), she’s long been a fan of sun-kissed locks, rocking her brightest shade to date starting in July 2016. “shout out to @traceycunningham1 for my gorgeous hair color 😘,” the Strong Looks Better Naked author captioned the reveal.
In March 2016, Kylie shared a throwback picture of her older brother, 29, with a buzz cut dyed white-blond. (He’s a teen, while she’s a preteen in the pic.) Her perfect caption? “Omg.”
And last, but not least, Kendall, 20, went platinum at the Balmain show in March 2016. (Doubly fun, her best friend Gigi Hadid went Kendall-brunette for the show.) But unlike the others, hers was a wig, as her natural raven tresses are part of her calling card as a model.
