The sincerest form of flattery! Kylie Jenner imitated her older sister Kim Kardashian by wearing one of her signature styles on Wednesday, July 20. The Kylie Lip Kit creator, 18, wrapped her hourglass figure in nude separates (a crop top and a thigh-grazing miniskirt, both by Naked Wardrobe) layered beneath a long, green duster coat and finished off with gray Yeezy boots.
“king,” Jenner captioned a photo of her ensemble via Instagram that day. She later posted yet another snap of herself in the duds while sitting in a car.
But while Kardashian would have worn loose waves and a nude shiny lip with the look, the Puma brand ambassador put her own fresh take on her glam. Jenner finished off the outfit with a pop of berry color on her lips and her hair in laid-back pigtail French braids.
Kardashian, 35, wore the clothing combination nearly every time she stepped out while pregnant with her second child, Saint, now 7 months old. The Selfish author admitted as much in a post on her website, kimkardashianwest.com.
“I actually want to accentuate [my bump this time],” she wrote about the difference between her first and second pregnancy styles. “And yes, long coats to cover my fat arms and ass! It’s such a trip how your body grows and changes, and at the end of the day, you have to wear what you are comfortable in and what you feel good in. I don’t care what the weather is, I will always wear my coats. I am always freezing, so it works out perfectly for me!”
The uniform was a big change from what she wore while expecting North, now 3. “Everyone used to say Kourtney had the best pregnancy style, so I would borrow a dress she wore when she was pregnant, and OMG it did not look the same!” she explained. “I also look back at my last pregnancy looks and sometimes I am mortified. The side-by-side comparisons were just not good for my soul, so I finally had to figure out my own style that worked for ME!”
