It’s a Wang thang! Just a few days before New York Fashion Week kicks off, on September 8, Kylie Jenner shared a special announcement in a Tuesday, September 6, Instagram. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 19, will have a role in Alexander Wang’s upcoming fall campaign.
“@wangsquad coming soon #WANGF16,” the Kylie Cosmetics entrepreneur captioned the shot, a lone Polaroid photo in which she wore an oversized black hoodie with a white T-shirt peeking through. She wore her brunette hair center-parted and opted for her usual glam — plenty of mascara, a bronzy contour and a nude lip.
Wang Squad shared the same photo on its respective page, also revealing the rest of the star-studded list of members. Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, as well as Zoe Kravitz, Big Sean, Tinashe, Skrillex and A$AP Ferg, have a part in the mysterious campaign.
Jenner’s latest Instagram is only part of a possible collaboration that she’s slowly unveiled over the past few months. In April, Kris Jenner shared an Instagram selfie alongside Wang with some very telling hashtags. “On set today with @alexanderwangny .. Thanks for the great day Alex! @kyliejenner #secretproject #alexanderwang #fashion #workethic,” the momager, 60, wrote.
One thing that Jenner has revealed? Her brand-new hair color! In a Sunday, September 4, Snapchat story, the reality star documented the possible dye job. “The pain,” she wrote in one Snap, as she played with the popular puppy filter. She also told her followers that she was undecided between platinum blond and honey. But she came to a decision by September 6, upon her arrival in New York City, per an Instagram photo she shared of the finished result: platinum.
