Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! On Thursday, March 21, Victoria's Secret Angel Lily Aldridge stepped out in New York City wearing the same exact ensemble pregnant reality star Kim Kardashian wore while shopping for furniture in L.A. on Feb. 27.
Both Aldridge, 27, and Kardashian, 32, paired their patterned $1,563 Givenchy dress with a black leather jacket and open-toed booties. Kanye West's girlfriend loved her look so much she blogged about it, writing, "Maxi dresses are amazing right now!"
Unlike Kardashian, Aldridge added a pop of color by rocking a red lip; The first-time mom-to-be opted for a nude shade. The supermodel mom to Dixie Pearl, 9 months, completed her look with a black fedora, while Kardashian slicked her hair back into a tight ponytail.
Aldridge (married to Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill) is in the Big Apple to promote her Velvet Tees collection by hosting an in-store appearance March 21. "Good morning!" she tweeted hours before she was photographed in the same outfit as Kardashian. "So excited for my event at at Bloomingdales tonight at 6 p.m. Come say hi!"
