Lily Aldridge

Lily Aldridge is a model best known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and for appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is the daughter of English artist Alan Aldridge and former Playboy Playmate Laura Lyons. Lily attended school in both London and California, including Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. She began modeling as a teenager, launching her career at age 16 before later pursuing it professionally.

Aldridge started out modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch before booking campaigns for brands including Gap, Levi’s, J.Crew and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2009, she made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut, becoming a Victoria’s Secret Angel the following year. Her profile continued to grow through editorial work for major fashion magazines and high-profile runway appearances.

In addition to walking for Victoria’s Secret, Aldridge appeared on the cover of the 50th anniversary edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue alongside Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal in 2014. Throughout her career, she has also appeared in music videos for artists including Limp Bizkit and Taylor Swift. She has also earned acting credits on shows such as 2 Broke Girls and made an appearance in Ocean’s 8 (2018) as herself.

Aldridge met Caleb Followill, the frontman of Kings of Leon, at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2007. They became engaged in 2010 and married in May 2011. The couple share two children: daughter Dixie (born in 2012) and son Winston (born in 2019).
