Lori Loughlin just gave her signature style a sitcom-worthy plot twist.
The Full House alum, 61, looked unrecognizable when she stepped out with a dramatic new hair transformation on Thursday, April 16, trading in her long ombré locks for a freshly cropped bob with caramel highlights and thick curtain bangs she parted to the side.
All eyes were on Loughlin as she attended the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala for the David Geffen Galleries alongside her daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli.
Loughlin wore a sequin-covered silver dress featuring a thigh-high slit, accessorizing with matching stilettos, a metallic manicure and dainty stud earrings. Makeup artist Lyndsay Zavitz did her glam for the occasion, opting for a smokey eye, blended contoured cheeks and a taupe lip color that accentuated her pout in a subtle way.
Giannulli, 26, wore a black dress featuring a lace bodice and layered silk train, completing her look with a curled half-up, half-down hairstyle and simple glam that included a touch of mascara, blush and lip gloss worn over a cinnamon-hued liner.

Just last month, Loughlin was sporting her lengthy mane that went well past her shoulders, styling her hair in a soft curled low ponytail for a When Calls the Heart red carpet event on March 18. At the time, she had a chestnut color that tapered into a soft honey tone near the ends.
Prior to that, she wore her hair down for a Women’s Cancer Research Fund event on March 11, and it draped down to her chest.
Earlier this month, insiders exclusively told Us Weekly that Loughlin has “her spark back” six months after her split from estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli in October 2025.
“Lori has been putting herself back out there after her split from Mossimo and is dating again,” a source exclusively told Us, noting she is “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.”
