The power of makeup!
One incredible — and male — makeup artist has taken the craft of applying blush, concealer, and a little foundation to new heights, by producing eerily dead-on recreations of famous celebs including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Dakota Johnson.
Paolo Ballesteros, aka @pochoy_29, has 687,000 followers on Instagram eagerly anticipating his next A-lister reveal. The 32-year-old Filipino actor, model, and makeup artist showcases his transformations in sets of photos, which start out with his makeup-free face and short dark hair. Then — poof — the wig appears, false eyelashes are applied, and his face is warped with expert contouring skills.
Ballesteros learned how to change his looks by watching tutorials on YouTube. "My nose is smaller and shorter [than most celebrities]," he told the Huffington Post. "It took me a while to figure out how to do it. By drawing new nostrils, it made my nose more pointy or bigger."
When Kardashian debuted her platinum blonde locks at the start of Paris Fashion Week, Ballesteros copied her look and even contoured his chest with loads of bronzer to mimic her busty cleavage.
The makeup master then took on Kardashian's younger half-sister Jenner. His lips went from small to three-times the size to capture Jenner's famously plumped pout. He added a dark center-parted bob wig to bring out the Jenner look.
He caught Fifty Shades fever with the rest of the world and tackled Johnson's classic fresh-faced look by copying her smirk and doe-like eyes. "Fifty shades of color blindness…Anastasia," he captioned the photo via Instagram.
