Forget acting, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has made a name for herself on and off the red carpet as one of fashion’s rising stars, and now she has the perfect gig to match. Luxe Italian outerwear brand Moncler just named the 14-years-old actress a #monclerfriend and said she will be starring in an upcoming ad campaign. Millie, meanwhile, confirmed the news on her Instagram feed posting a pic of herself wearing a dress by the brand with the caption, “Happy to be part of Moncler’s family #monclerfriends #monclerpartner.”
In February, the actress attended the Moncler Genius presentation during Milan Fashion Week wearing a fabulous puffer coat-inspired dress designed by Simone Rocha for the label. With its fitted top and full skirt, the padded gown was a creative and whimsical take on the brand’s most iconic cold-weather designs, and the style seemed to perfectly encapsulate the actress’ youthful yet high-fashion vibe.
And there seems to be more where that came from. Moncler has teamed up with eight designers (including Rocha, Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and others) to create capsule collections that extend far beyond outerwear. While there is no telling what Millie will be modeling, one thing is certain: the girl knows what she is doing.
Despite her age, Brown is actually no stranger (sorry, we had to!) to ad campaigns. In January 2017, she popped up in images for Calvin Klein by Appointment, and she followed that up earlier this year with another collaboration with the brand. In February, she starred alongside Paris Jackson and Lulu Tenney as part of Calvin Klein’s spring 2018 “Our Family. #MYCALVINS” initiative. Rocking a western-inspired Canadian tuxedo, Millie proved she knows a thing or two about striking a pose.
