A stunning choice for a gorgeous gal! Miranda Kerr announced that she accepted a proposal from her longtime love, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, via Instagram on Wednesday, July 20, complete with a photo of her diamond engagement ring.

The former Victoria’s Secret model, 33, posted a black-and-white photo (topped by a Bitmoji cartoon recreation of Spiegel proposing!) featuring her bling. The bauble boasts a sizable, round center stone, flanked on both sides by a tapered diamond baguette and set in what appears to be either white gold or platinum. She captioned the pic, “I said yes!!! ❤️😍❤️😍❤️”
“Miranda’s ring is the quintessence of classic style and understatement,” jewelry expert Michael O’Connor tells Us Weekly. “It’s a classic round diamond of about 2.5 carats. The value of the ring would be approximately $55,000.”

O’Connor added, “Despite the reported billions Spiegel’s worth, the couple decided on a timeless style that proves they ‘don’t need to try.’ After so many over-the-top rings, this understated, more meaningful ring may be the newest — and best! — we’ve seen in a while.”
The week before the engagement announcement, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the tech maven, 26, was ready to propose to the Aussie stunner. “They are both completely smitten, and Evan’s starting to look at rings,” a source told Us.
The couple will have “an extravagant wedding, in true Evan style,” the insider added. “Miranda certainly won’t mind!”
This will be Spiegel’s first marriage. Kerr was previously married to Orlando Bloom from 2010 to 2013. They share a 5-year-old son, Flynn.
