Mischa Barton has not exactly had the most spot-free reputation in the recent years.
Which is why she's turning to June Ambrose, a celebrity stylist who's worked with Beyonce, Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige, for help on how to give her image a makeover.
"I want June to style me because she has a great positive attitude and could help me with some of the press," the OC alum, 25, says during a preview for Ambrose's latest VH1 show, Styled by June. "Press is definitely not one of my stronger points. Thee's been a lot of negative things said and I really feel that she could help me with that."
Besides being a repeat offender on Us Weekly's own Fashion Police for her sartorial missteps, Barton landed herself in the middle of a DUI scandal in 2007, which put her on probation for three years, and made headlines with her fluctuating weight.
"I was literally 17 when the OC blew up. The paparazzi and that craziness sucks the soul out of you and distracts you," Barton continues. "That was why the press attention made me real the way it did and made me a bit angry and want me to do my own thing.
Styled by June premieres March 19 at 9:30/8:30c on VH1.
