Watch her mouth! As if she weren’t already shutting it down with her long, luxurious mane and flawless skin, Naomi Campbell nailed her beauty look at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28, in her sparkling ruby red lips.
The supermodel, who walked the carpet in a mint green Brandon Maxwell minidress with a daring slit, stood out in a sea of musicians with her glittering lipstick courtesy of Pat McGrath Labs’ Lust 004 Kit in Vermillion Venom. In addition to her statement pout, celebrity makeup artist Renee Garnes complemented Campbell’s chocolate-brown skin with bronzy eye shadow, liberal layers of faux eyelashes and a touch of burgundy blush to bring out those high, sculpted cheekbones.
McGrath, who’s the design director of P&G Beauty, praised her longtime friend, 46, for nailing the daring look in an August 28 Instagram. “Showing the children how it’s DONE!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ RED CARPET SLAYAGE starring the QUEEN @iamnaomicampbell in #LUST004 Kit Vermillion Venom at the #VMAS!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ TWO DAYS to SALE of #patmcgrathlabs004 on PATMcGRATH.COM at 12pm EST – AUGUST, 30, 2016 #TurnYourLipsOn 57 ⚡️⚡️⚡️,” she captioned along with a heads-up of the kit’s drop date.
Campbell isn’t the only star who’s sparkled thanks to McGrath. Bella Hadid sported Vermillion Venom on the runway of the Atelier Versace Fall Couture runway show on July 3, and Rihanna wore the same shade on her September 2016 cover of W magazine.
“This is for everyone who’s mad about any kind of lip shade or any kind of lip fun, any kind of lip obsession,” McGrath, 46, told Us Weekly of the product.
