Nate Berkus, 46, and Jeremiah Brent, 33, need as many hands as possible to raise daughter Poppy, 3, and son Oskar, 3 months. Hence, their backpack turned diaper bag. “It’s great for on the go,” Brent says.
The interior designers (who wed in 2014) spill their children’s essentials for Us.
Time for Change
“As designers, we can’t help but notice detail,” Berkus says of their Huggies Made by You diapers with Oskar’s monogram on them. “It’s a pattern we chose.”
Just in Case
“A lot of people carry tiny travel packs of wipes,” Berkus says. “We don’t because we go through them in 25 minutes!” Adds Brent: “We roll deep.”

An Eye for Art
“Our daughter is into PAW Patrol,” Berkus says. “She went to PAW Patrol Live! and she thought she was in heaven. She has their Crayola-themed coloring book [to use on flights].”
Clothes Call
“We carry a pair of Makié pajamas that tie at the top and snap at the bottom [for Oskar],” Berkus says. “Anything that doesn’t have access from the bottom up is not of interest to us.”
