Nicole Richie Keeps Purple Hair, Looks Skinny at Met Gala 2014

The theme may have been "White Tie & Decorations" but Nicole Richie opted for purple at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala.

The fashion designer looked slender in a Donna Karan Atelier custom-dyed Sage backless graphic devore velvet gown with tiny asymmetrical straps that criss-cross around the back.

The 32-year-old mom paired her dress with her recently dyed purple hair, which she wore in an elegant updo.

Richie opted for Christian Louboutin shoes, but still rocked her own line, wearing House of Harlow 1960 jewelry paired with pieces by Catbird.
