Rejoice, boho babes! Nicole Richie‘s House of Harlow 1960 just launched a collaborative line with Revolve, and it’s all kinds of California girl–perfect.
“I love L.A. — I’m from here,” Richie, 34, exclusively tells Us Weekly. “There are so many amazing parts about it: being outdoors and the color palette, being in nature.”
All of that — plus her “eclectic group of girlfriends” — inspired the House of Harlow 1960 x Revolve line, a 20-piece clothing collection that will be sold on both the Revolve and House of Harlow 1960 websites exclusively starting Thursday, June 2. The ongoing partnership will see new items added monthly.
The initial run includes printed maxi dresses, slip dresses, crisp wide-legged pants and a few very cute rompers, ranging in price from $70 to $268. And if every piece looks like it came right out of Richie’s closet, that’s certainly by design.
“All of it [is inspired by my personal style],” the Simple Life alum, who counts Jessica Alba and Cameron Diaz among her inner circle of friends, tells Us. “I really thought about what my friends and I are wearing this summer, and what do we want to wear? I thought, ‘This summer, I want to wear coconut oil in my hair slicked back and no makeup. [That means] I want to do bodysuits. And what do I pair bodysuits with?’ That was my process throughout.”
Richie also had the help of one very special little lady: her 8-year-old daughter, Harlow (one of two children she shares with husband Joel Madden). “My daughter is starting to really get into [fashion],” she shares. “She’s around all the time, and she has those little sketchbooks, so she likes to bring ideas to the table. It’s super cute.”
