Olivia Jade Giannulli laughed off her college admissions scandal in the best way.
Olivia Jade, 26, who is the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, wore a gray crewneck sweater with the word “College” printed across her chest in big, black letters while posing for Reformation’s new limited-edition College Crew line on Wednesday, September 16. The o.piccola founder wore the sweatshirt over a white collared blouse, which poked out of her collar. She completed her look with black bottoms.
For glam, Olivia Jade stunned with soft makeup, including dewy skin, filled-in eyebrows, black eyeliner, mascara and glossy lips. She wore her brunette hair down and styled in beachy waves.
In another pic, Olivia Jade went topless while holding a red clutch in front of her chest. She teamed the daring look with charcoal pleated pants and a delicate watch.
“@oliviajade is back on campus in a crew that suits her better than the other kind,” Reformation captioned a joint Instagram post with Olivia Jade. “100% of net proceeds from the limited-edition College Crew will go to @yesscholars, a nonprofit that expands college access and opportunities for promising students from under-resourced communities.” The brand added, “Thanks for being a Good Sport, Olivia.”
Social media users were quick to share their mixed feelings in the comments section. “Whoever’s idea this was needs a raise 😂😭,” one wrote, while a second agreed, “I’m here for the ragebait lol.” A third commented, “She saw the opportunity to do the funniest thing possible and did it.”
Others didn’t see the humor in the ad and commented, “Yeah this isn’t cute and cheeky like they thought it would be.” Another added, “Why r we glorifying crime,” while a third wrote, “This is crazy af ngl.”
In 2019, news broke that Olivia Jade and her sister, Isabella “Bella” Giannulli, had been admitted to the University of Southern California as fake crew talents. Loughlin, 62, and Mossimo, 63, later admitted to paying $500,000 to admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer, who was the mastermind behind the “Operation Varsity Blues” scandal.
Loughlin spent two months in federal prison, while Mossimo was locked up for nearly five months. In 2024, the Full House alum opened up to First for Women about the scandal, saying, “Stuff happens to everyone. We’ve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness, but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too.”
Olivia Jade first spoke on the matter in 2020 during an episode of “Red Table Talk,” sharing, “It’s been hard. For anybody — no matter what the situation is — you don’t want to see your parents go to prison, but also I think it’s necessary for us to move on and move forward.”
She added, “What happened was wrong, and I think every single person in my family can look at it and be like, ‘That was messed up. That was a big mistake.’ But I think what’s so important to me is to learn from the mistake. Not to be shamed and punished and never given a second chance … I’m 21. I feel like I deserve a second chance to redeem myself to show I’ve grown.”
