You know what they say about blondes! Orlando Bloom surprised fans with a throwback dye job in a fun Instagram post on Friday, September 16.
The Digging for Fire actor and former brunette, 39, displayed his blonde locks in a photo as he took a ride on a bright pink electric bicycle (clad in a pressed white button down and navy blue suit, of course!). “back to blond…rolling to set…,” he wrote. His girlfriend, Katy Perry, even left a funny comment on the photo: “Scccccurrrrttttt.”
Apt followers remembered that this isn’t Bloom’s first time as a blonde. He wore a long, straight wig for his role as Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. “Back to legolass😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍,” @albaa_pdc gushed.
Bloom, who shares Flynn, 5, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, was able to share this moment with his 127,000+ followers as he made his two month-old Instagram public on Thursday, September 15. “I caved…,” he wrote in a handwritten note that Kerr commented on. “Nice one!” the former Victoria’s Secret model, 33, quipped in a comment.
His Instagram account isn’t the only thing that’s gone public lately. In August, U.K. outlet Daily Star published a photo of the naked Pirates of the Caribbean actor paddleboarding alongside Perry, 31, with nothing but an emoji censoring him. Kerr later joked that her ex warned her about the pictures.
“Oh, my God, he texted me,” she sad on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show. “And he was like, ‘Um, I’m really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know.’ And I was like, ‘Hmm … right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?'”
