It was a throwback Sunday for Perrey Reeves!
The Entourage actress, 44, hit HBO’s Official Golden Globe Awards Afterparty at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, Jan. 11. But unlike most of Hollywood, Reeves did not go shopping to prep!
Instead, she dug deep into her closet and pulled out a magenta crushed velvet dress—the same one Mrs. Ari Gold wore to the Globes more than 20 years ago!
“You’re going to love this,” Reeves told reporters on the carpet. “The first time I went to the Golden Globes was in 1992, and this was what I wore. I thought I would revive it. No one ever does that. But I guess I’ve been around for a while.”
The Covert Affairs actress went on, “I literally went into my wardrobe and said, ‘I’m going to wear something pretty that I always loved, that I haven’t worn again.’ And I did!”
Indeed, we don’t see red carpet repeats too often, but we love it when we do! Kate Middleton is known for repeating her royal ensembles, and Keira Knightley has been spotted on the red carpet in her Chanel wedding dress no less than three times.
Reeves also shared that she and the Entourage cast were up late the night before, shooting scenes for their upcoming film (to be released June 2015), which meant she was a woman on a mission. “Let’s get real. I’ll probably stay out only a couple of hours,” she joked. “I want to still look good tomorrow!”
