Pretty as posies! Camila Alves and the newly engaged Pippa Middleton stepped out wearing the same summery floral dress just a week apart.
Alves, 34, strutted her stuff in NYC on Sunday, July 24, in the L.K. Bennett Karo printed silk dress, a tea-length, chiffon number in a buttercup-hued floral print ($495, us.lkbennett.com). The handbag designer, who shares three children with Matthew McConaughey, accessorized the ensemble with pink sunglasses, nude patent Prada pumps and a brown leather Givenchy purse.
Duchess Kate's younger sister, 32, meanwhile, chose the same short-sleeved style in soft pink for her appearance at the Frost Summer Party fundraiser on July 18. To complement the rosy look, Middleton added a coral minaudière and peach-hued sandals with chunky buckled straps.
While on the red carpet, Middleton hid her left hand behind her, immediately igniting speculation that she was engaged. Less than 24 hours later, the Celebrate author and her fiancé, James Matthews, confirmed the happy news with a statement: "Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday, July 17, and plan to marry next year." That same day, the royal-in-law stepped out with her eye-popping engagement ring, an art deco–inspired bauble with a huge center stone framed by an octagonal diamond halo.
While both ladies stunned in the style, the question still remains: Who wore it best? Vote in the poll below!
