Camila Alves

The model-turned-hostess was born January 28, 1982, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the age of 15, Alves relocated to New York to sign with Bleu Model Management model agency.  One of her more notable campaigns was for Triumph lingerie.

She became a household name as the girlfriend of Matthew McConaughey when the two began dating in 2007. Their first child, a son, Levi, was born in 2008. In January 2010, one month before her Bravo reality show, Shear Genius, debuted, Alves gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Vida.

Alves launched her own brand of handbags, Muxo, in 2008.

The Brazilian beauty and McConaughey tied the knot on June 9, 2012. Their son, Livingston, was born six months later.
