Natural beauty! After launching with Emma Roberts last fall, Aerie is back with another unretouched Aerie Real campaign. This time, the stunning shoot stars plus-size model Barbie Ferreira.
While the campaign has yet to officially launch, Us Weekly has two sneak-peek photos. In one, Ferreira, who’s previously posed for Missguided clothing and ID magazine, lounges on a beach chair in a black bikini. The other shows the 19-year-old social-media darling rocking a floral bra, blue boy shorts and a striped robe.
The model shared the bikini shot via Instagram on Monday, January 25, and captioned it with the powerful words, “This is a healthy body too.”
Ferreira also stars in a video for the campaign wearing a sizzling, hot-pink two-piece:
When Us Weekly spoke to Roberts about the campaign last October, she too seemed extremely proud to be involved. “I’m on the side of people being … as real as possible, because I think we live in such a world that’s filtered and face-tuned,” the Scream Queens actress, 24, shared. “It’s nice to be with people who are trying to be real. I think it’s really inspiring and cool.”
