Shay Mitchell is always up to something! Whether she’s filming the hit television series Pretty Little Liars, Snapchatting her followers or hosting events, the actress always looks fab while on the go.
To stay looking refreshed during her hectic schedule, Mitchell tells Us Weekly she totes “everything and anything” in her carry-on bag.
“I always have an emergency kit with me. There’s one that’s in my car, there’s one that’s in my travel bag, there’s one that’s in my purse and it just has sort of the essentials,” shares the actress, who plays Emily Fields on Freeform’s hit show. “I’ll always have a mascara in there, always have a lip gloss just in case I forget to put one in my purse. And just a nail file, eyelash prep, etc.”
Mitchell tells Us she tries to “make it a spa travel day” whenever she has to fly to different destinations.
“The flight is really when I take advantage of just having that time to myself,” the 29-year-old says. “I don’t try to really look good for anyone on the flight … You wake up next to me and I have a full on sheet mask and you’re kind of like, ‘Whoa!’ It’s not a good look.”
But as for travel on land, the actress says that she chooses not to drive herself. “I catch up in the car, so that’s really where I’ve been doing a lot of my Snapchats, and that sort of thing.”
When she gets a break from being on the go, Mitchell likes to spend time outside with her dog and go bowling with friends at Bowlero in Los Angeles. “I work a lot so I want to take advantage of the time I’m not.”
