Scarlett Johansson isn't ready to talk yet about Nate Naylor, her just-revealed boyfriend of five months.
The sartorial choices of Rick Santorum and the Republican National Committee, however, were fair game for Johansson, 27, who stepped out at a Tuesday fundraiser for President Barack Obama hosted by Vogue in NYC.
Santorum, 53, was the surprise winner in the Republican primaries in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado on Tuesday — but Mitt Romney's rival won't be winning any fashion awards for his talked-about sweater vests, Johansson joked.
"Oh gosh, so sad," the We Bought a Zoo actress said. "My dad wore them, and, I mean, they're charming for family photos I guess, and dinner with the grandparents. I think there's an ironic way to wear a sweater vest but other than that I'm not sure!"
The beauty also scoffed at the RNC's recent comments that Tuesday's Vogue fundraiser (Vogue's Anna Wintour also attended the event, coinciding with the start of Fashion Week) was elitist and ritzy. "Why would they say that? They are all so unfashionable," she said. "Let them say what they want!"
Although Johansson recently stepped out holding hands in NYC with ad exec Naylor, 38, he wasn't her date at Tuesday's bash. Instead, Johansson (wearing a sexy Stella McCartney dress and Chanel clutch) took Hunter, her twin brother, as her escort.
