“The [Alexandre Vauthier] dress was a beautiful silk gown, so I wanted to something a little more vampy on her lip to [make it] stand out,” Morales, who also joins the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award winner on tour, tells Us Weekly. “It was Old Hollywood glamour with luminous skin — beautiful.”
But of course, what’s a bold pout without the perfect backdrop? “With any lip, have to do foundation, concealer, bronzer and blush so that you have a canvas,” the pro, who also works with Keke Palmer and Tinashe, says. And yes, despite Kim Kardashian‘s recent declarations, contouring is key!
