It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Hollywood’s headed to NYC for the 2016 Met Gala, which brings out the inner fashionista in everyone … including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The model, who dwells in Los Angeles, shared her style and beauty essentials with Violet Files that she won’t leave home without ahead of the May 2 fete.

While she can’t reveal the details of her red carpet dress, Huntington-Whiteley, who became engaged to Jason Statham in January, said that it’s been “hand transported back and forth from L.A. for fittings multiple times over the past couple of months, so it will be awaiting me when I arrive!” However, she did divulge that “the dress has been completely custom made for me by a legendary designer (I can’t reveal who they are just yet!), which is an exciting process and a huge honor.”

Before enlisting makeup artist Kate Lee to paint her face, Whiteley plans on prepping her face with some of her favorites. She relies Sisley Black Rose mask for “ultimate hydration upon arrival.” Dry shampoo and a Moroccan Oil treatment keeps her strands silky. And if pesky blemishes dare to rear their ugly heads, the Caudlie Purifying Mask zaps them right up.

When she’s not in her mysterious haute couture, Whitely will take on the city streets in her off-duty model uniform of an Isabel Marant LBD, a sexy Galvan slipdress and a structured Saint Laurent blazer.
