Scarlett Johansson stepped out to support the 2nd Annual Champions of Rockaway Hurricane Sandy Benefit on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in New York City. And just two months after giving birth to baby Rose Dorothy, the Captain America actress already looks incredibly slim.
Clad in a black and blue Proenza Schouler dress, cinched to reveal her tiny waist, a metallic Reece Hudson clutch, and Sophia Webster heels, Johansson, 29, turned heads.
Some might have expected the Lucy lead to bring her fiancé, Romain Dauriac, with her to the event. However, Johansson asked her especially handsome twin brother, Hunter, to accompany her down the red carpet instead, as it’s the city they were both raised in and thus, close to both of their hearts.
“Hunter and I were here in New York—we were 15 years old when September 11 happened, and that was pretty shocking,” Johansson told Us Weekly at the benefit. “We thought the city that we grew up in was rock solid, and it shook the foundation of the city—for very different reasons obviously.”
The Oscar nominee added, “Seeing the city shaken once more [by Hurricane Sandy]; it was totally totally shocking for the people that were living here,” she says, which is why she and her brother wanted to get involved. “Two years later, people are feeling huge effects of this devastating loss.”
