The 1990s-centric focal point of Gomez’s outfit was her floral scrunched cropped short sleeve shirt some, evoking the playful and girly trends of the late 20th century. Adding to the throwback vibes? The ruffle hems. Some other ‘90s items included her small-frame oval glasses and the “Back to You” singer’s low pony that was held together by a Silk Laundry scrunchie.
She then decided to go even further back in time for the bottom-half of her outfit. The queen of Instagram’s cuffed ’50s-style blue linen high-waisted trousers that weren’t just functional for a day hitting the Roman hotspots comfortable, but timelessly chic too. She then added a pair of modernized white Tod’s penny loafers with an elevated chunky cork sole. The effect: Gomez’s outfit was the cool-girl take on Jackie O style.
To add just a touch of travel glam to her outfit, Gomez added her signature chunky mid-sized hoops to give her look a 2018 edge. And, because she came prepared too. She added a floppy hat as the day went on because Gomez comes prepared for changes in weather. .
