Simone Biles will always be a glam girl.
Biles, 29, reposted a reel via her Instagram Story on Sunday, August 23, and broke down exactly how she got ready for the Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons preseason game on Saturday, August 22.
In the clip, which was first shared by her makeup artist Brianca, the gymnast sat in a chair and got a full beat featuring a glowy base with foundation, contoured cheeks and a touch of blush. The rest of her makeup featured soft eyeshadow that was blended to her brow bone, winged eyeliner, long lashes, highlighter swept on the tip of her nose and pink, glossy lips.
Biles made her look even more glamorous with her long hair worn down and styled in braids. She added even more sparkle with diamond earrings, a tennis necklace and a chain featuring her husband Jonathan Owens’ last name written on it.
“Game day glam for the beautiful @simonebiles 😍,” Brianca captioned the post. “Somehow our appointments always turn into a full on yap session🤣.”
Biles’ full makeup moment comes four months after she took to social media to share how much she spent on a single red carpet appearance in April. “If you’re a celebrity, athlete, influencer, these questions are for you,” she started. “I need to know if this is normal.”
She then asked, “I know going outside is expensive as f*** these days, but like, is it this expensive? I just want to know, is that f***ing normal?” Biles went on to share that she spent a “grand total of $23,000” on her look, including a fee from her stylist and hair and makeup team.
“I get inflation, but if that’s the new norm, y’all can have it. Y’all will never see me at another event,” she added. “I’m going to sit my ass right here where it’s free. I’ve been kind of spiraling since then. I see y’all at a lot of these events, and there’s no way you’re paying these prices each and every time.”
“I will be staying inside for the foreseeable future 🥴,” Biles captioned the TikTok. “On another note, also kinda wack when they double or triple the price because of your name. This didn’t happen this time but it has before 🤍. My intention isn’t to bash anyone; everyone I work with/have worked with is LOVELY! I’m just curious if this is normal.”
Athletes and influencers shared their two cents in the comments section.
“I stopped using stylists years ago cuz it’s cheaper to buy a gown I at least get to keep lol… I would expect to pay around 1k each for hair / makeup 🙃,” Madeline White wrote, while Alpine ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin added, “Girl, I’ve been wondering the same 🤯.”
Biles replied, “Texting you asap, we can cry together.”
