Skylar and Sprinkles are here with the holiday collab we didn’t know we needed! The natural fragrance brand has teamed up the cupcake savants (you know, the ones that have that genius ATM that dispenses not money but sweet treats) to create the ultimate sugar and spice candle that you’ll be burning from Thanksgiving straight through ’til New Year’s Day. The best part? A portion of the proceeds go to charity.
Earlier this year, Skylar asked its fans to vote on which Sprinkles cupcake flavors they’d most like to see turned into a candle, and so the Vanilla Triple Cinnamon creation was born.
The brand’s noses got to work dreaming up the perfect gourmand scent to reflect the sugary goodness of Sprinkles’ classic Vanilla cupcake (which is infused with Nielsen Massey’s famed Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract for an extra kick) and spicier warmth of its Triple Cinnamon recipe (a spiced buttermilk cake topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and a dusting of cinnamon sugar — yes, it’s as delicious as it sounds!).
The result? A not-too-sweet blend of cinnamon bark, vanilla bean and island nutmeg that calls to mind the aroma freshly baked treats — without ever having to heat up the oven. In keeping with the rest of Skylar’s clean candle offerings, the L.A.-made soy coconut wax bougie is paraffin-, phthalate- and lead-free with 50 hours of burn time.
And in case you needed another reason to #TreatYoSelf to this holiday delight, the HBIC teams at Skylar and Sprinkles are donating 10 percent of the proceeds to Step Up, a non-profit dedicated to helping young women succeed.
The Sprinkles x Skylar Vanilla Triple Cinnamon Candle retails for $38 and is available at Skylar.com beginning Thursday, November 1.
