Susan Boyle is in a “new era.”
The Britain’s Got Talent star, 65, returned to Instagram on Thursday, May 28, to show off her ultra glamorous new look while revealing new music is on the way. In the pic, she stood with her back to the camera in a recording studio, wearing a brown velvet tracksuit with “Just One” written in gold letters over her back.
Her hair, which she used to wear in tight curls, was styled in a straight, blonde bob. Boyle completed her sophisticated look with long almond-shaped nails.
“I’ve heard it’s Susan Boyling out there… and it’s about to get hotter,” she captioned the post. “Just One is out soon xx.”
One day prior, Boyle shared more pics via social media of herself looking ultra chic while strutting on the streets. The singer stunned in a brown fur coat while heading to the studio. She accessorized with brown shoes and oversized ombré sunglasses.
“A new era starts tomorrow,” she captioned the photos. Her celebrity friends and fans went wild in the comments section.
“Oh, we’re sat!!!!!!” singer Laufey wrote, while Katy Perry added, “I dreamt this dream.” PinkPantheress also commented, “OKAYYY.” More fans praised the outfit for being “diva” approved.
Boyle first shocked fans with her major hair makeover in October 2025 when she made a rare red carpet appearance at the Pride of Britain Awards in London.
At the time, she styled her highlighted mane with a floor-length dress featuring a V-neck, floral embellishments and long sleeves.
Boyle first rose to fame in 2009 while auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. At the time, her hair was styled in natural curls with baby bangs.
She impressed the judges by singing Les Misérables’ “I Dreamed a Dream” and earned three stamps of approval.
“Without a doubt, that was the biggest surprise I have had in three years of the show,” Piers Morgan told her. “Everyone was laughing at you. No one is laughing now. That was stunning! An incredible performance. I’m shocked.”
Amanda Holden also gave her a standing ovation and declared “I am so thrilled because I know that everybody was against you. I honestly think that we were being very cynical and I think that’s the biggest wakeup call ever. It was a complete privilege listening to that.”
Simon Cowell, for his part, said he “knew” Boyle was going to be a hit.
