Sydney Sweeney didn’t just show up to the 2025 Emmy Awards — she made a lasting fashion statement.
The Euphoria actress, 27, stepped on the scene like she spent all week rehearsing her arrival in a vanity mirror, lashes curled and not a hair out of place — bringing that signature Cassie Howard sparkle on Sunday, September 14.
Sweeney dazzled in a cleavage-baring red gown with draping fabric while making a stylish appearance on the red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles for the star-studded event, honoring TV’s biggest and brightest celebrities.
She opted for a voluminous curled hairstyle and sparkling statement accessories, looking like the ultimate Hollywood bombshell.
The star, and former Emmy nominee for her work on both Euphoria and The White Lotus, is among the A-listers slated to take the stage as a presenter — as are her Euphoria costars Colman Domingo and Eric Dane.
Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman, Kathy Bates, Kristen Bell, Sterling K. Brown, Jennifer Coolidge and Alan Cumming were just a few of the other famous names announced as presenters by CBS ahead of the ceremony.
Sweeney was nominated in 2022 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Cassie in Euphoria, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for White Lotus. She later shared her excitement in an emotional Instagram video.
“Congratulations!” the performer’s mother told her during a phone call at the time, to which she gleefully replied, “Mom! Mom!”
The American Eagle campaign star fought back tears and was beaming with pride. “What a morning!” Sweeney captioned her Instagram. “Thank you so much to the @televisionacad for my emmy nominations! It’s an honor to know that both Olivia and Cassie have connected with so many.”
The White Lotus is yet again a major contender this year as the third season of the hit HBO series created by Mike White earned a staggering 23 Emmy nominations.
