Best friends never go out of style! Taylor Swift brought her high school BFF, Abigail Anderson, as her date to the 2015 Grammy Awards — where, predictably, they danced like no one was watching in a crowd of A-listers including Madonna, Pharrell Williams, Paul McCartney, Rihanna, Beyonce, and Swift nemesis Katy Perry.
Ahead of the awards show on Sunday, Feb. 8, the “Style” singer tweeted a photo of herself and Anderson from way back when. The pic showed them dressed up in faux formalwear — complete with tiaras! — and vamping for the camera.

True to her word, the pop superstar and her pal brought their A-game to the red carpet at L.A.’s Staples Center. Swift stunned in a turquoise ombre Elie Saab high-low dress with bright purple Giuseppe Zanotti heels, while Anderson took the plunge in a low-cut glittering halter gown.
As the “Shake It Off” singer notes in her 2009 single “Fifteen,” (from her second studio album, Fearless) Swift and Anderson met in high school back in Hendersonville, Tenn. “You sit in class next to redheaded Abigail and soon enough you’re best friends,” she crooned at the time. “Laughing at the other girls who think they’re so cool, we’ll be out of here as soon as we can.”
